Born and raised in Central Florida, Drew Beatty spent his childhood competitively playing baseball and football. During his senior year in high school, he tore his ACL which led to the loss of many Division 1 opportunities for football. However, even with the tear, Drew was still awarded a full scholarship for both sports to Ottawa University in Kansas. He ended up transferring to Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. With now a total of four ACL injuries, Drew ultimately had to end his playing career. With his injuries preventing him from a career in the NFL, Drew realized helping young athletes stay safe from injury was becoming his passion. He continued his studies at the University of Texas at Arlington and Texas Christian University (TCU) and received a Masters in Exercise Physiology. While earning his Master’s he held camps for Highland Park High School in Dallas, TX with Performance Course and helped coach the Football, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Swim and Dive teams at Texas Christian University (TCU). Soon after, Drew was offered an opportunity at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA as the Strength and Conditioning Coach working with Baseball, Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, and Cross Country. After a few years, Drew noticed the demand for Strength Coaches in the area and turned his focus on younger athletes, founding Beatty Strength.

The variety of sports Coach Beatty has worked with include Football, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country, Lacrosse, Swimming and Diving.

With all of the sports Drew has played himself or worked with as a strength coach, he has developed a niche market in the Tampa Bay area for Arm Care programs for baseball and softball while continuing to work with other sports.

Drew and his wife, Lia, have 4 kids which motivate him to be a better person and role model every day.
